Club 915 was acessible for wheelchair. They talked about Eggs and Kegs menu for the early games. they were very nice and it is just one and a half blocks from Yamhill Max stop. Very close to other things downtown if you want to do something after or before the games. We liked it. Good job for every one who went on the search for a spot.

I have been very careful to be impartial when evaluating the choices. So here is the "skinny" on the three bars.

Buffalo Wild Wings (BWW) formally Buffalo Wild Wings and Weck (BWWW) or BW3's or just "B-Dubs" This bar originated in Kent Ohio and its first two franchises were on High Street on Ohio State's Campus...North and South High...Ahh! Many memories! The fact that they are originally from The Buckeye State earns them a great deal of respect!!! But lets face it, they have "sold out" and gone global. Try finding a seat in the down town bar during games, it is next to impossible. The thought of the bar being the exclusive "Buckeye" home is not a reality. Imagine being crammed into the bar on the day of OSU vs USC...OK, better leave the kids at home "mom" and bring a shank!! Its not going to be pretty! And BTW a Weck is an old English sandwich that BW3's originally had on the menu, but dropped it due to lack of sales, thus BWW minus the W..

"The Blitz"! The name says it all. I am feeling the "Germanic" urge to mosh!!! This bar definitely has the capacity! It also has allot of seating "with couches" and plenty of tv's and one big screen dedicated to the "problem child" in the corner. Ill get to that in a sec! The food is excellent and the whole bar is located on one floor. This venue is a great all around pick because it accommodates all dedicated Buckeyes even our our "up and coming" young ones. The down side is that they, like BWW's, are set up as a host to all college football fans, especially The Oregon Ducks (as the neon signs in the bar suggest). The management has given us a small corner on the end of the bar..thus " the problem child in the corner"! Im not going to rule this place out because it is really nice. But it does not offer exclusive ownership to The Portland Buckeys! (Nice U-TUBE video BTW)!

Club 915

The Owner of the bar has granted us all exclusive rights to the upstairs during game days. Too bad the U-Tube video does not show it! The up stairs is freaking nice! The owner has also promised 15% off the menu, and two "huge" projection screens (upstairs) to be placed at our will. They will hang our flags out side of the bar, play our music, and take all suggestions for drink specials. OK, The down side. If, and only if, we decide that this is the "exclusive" Buckeye bar. The owner has to contact OLC ahead of time to declare it a "private" party every Sat. What this does is allow children in the upper floor. Otherwise the kids have to stay down stairs. Also the food is not the greatest (only my opinion), but I honestly believe the owner is willing to take personal recipes into consideration. Frank (the owner) has said he will build a "kids" friendly section upstairs if we decide to pick his place. We will have the personal touch, and a feeling that this is "our bar" and only a "BUCKEYES BAR"!!!! We are able to start a real legacy!

OK I guess I'm a little impartial to Club 915! I honestly believe both The Blitz and Club 915 are great choices. I strongly urge everyone to make a visit to all three places ((this weekend)) and form your own opinion. Remember we only have less than three weeks to make a decision, and that includes having a grand opening celebration for the new "Ohio State Portland Buckeye's Home"!!!!!!
